Epson PowerLite multimedia projector

"Epson is committed to exceeding the needs of educators and develops projectors that reflect our number-one position in the industry," said Daniel Oey, group product manager, Epson America, Inc. "The improved functionality of the Epson PowerLite 83c multimedia projector is a direct result of feedback received from education customers about previous products, which helped design a projector that presents engaging content in classrooms in a cost efficient package." The Epson PowerLite 83c multimedia projector features a built-in closed captioning decoder for hearing impaired students. This offers schools a low-cost solution for meeting part of their ADA508 requirements without having to purchase and install external decoders. In addition, the PowerLite 83c multimedia projector offers RJ-45 wired LAN connectivity for remote monitoring via the school's IT network, regardless of the physical location of the projector.

Digital-Camera Buyer's Guide

Megapixels: Camera companies keep advertising more and more megapixels -- 10 is the new premium number this year. But unless you're blowing your pictures up to poster size, you don't need more than six or seven to get quality 4-x-6 or 8-x-10 prints.

Optical Viewfinder: As cameras get smaller, a feature that's often left off is an optical viewfinder (the window you hold your eye up to on the back of the camera). But a viewfinder comes in handy on a sunny day at the park when it's hard to see the LCD screen.

Image Stabilization: If your camera has a big optical zoom, you're definitely going to need image stabilization to guarantee an unblurry shot. And make sure it's optical stabilization, not electronic.

Autofocus Assist Lamp: Another feature that helps you shoot clear photos is a low red or green light that the camera shines whenever you prefocus (by holding the shutter release halfway down).

Don’t throw away those paper cups!

This Tarzan ice-cream cup was made by Lily-Tulip Cup Corp. in the 1930s. Hake's Americana and Collectibles, of Timonium, Md., priced it at $518. You can find paper-cup collectibles for much less, but this one is rare and in mint condition.

New Bible comes with more than 1000 images with text

Considering all the recent advances in archaeological knowledge of the Holy Land, it's surprising that more Bibles have not incorporated pictures and maps reflecting that scholarship within the text.

The newly published Holman Illustrated Study Bible (Holman Bible Publishers, $39.99) offers that, with more than 1,000 pictures, graphics and maps interspersed throughout.

Most pages feature art elements such as illustrated reconstructions of biblical towns such as Jericho and Jerusalem, as well as photos of biblical landscapes such as the Sea of Galilee, the Megiddo valley and Cana, olive trees and churches built on traditional holy sites. The reader will be constantly given visual tidbits related to the text at hand, such as discovered ruins from a city mentioned in the Bible.

No Reds revenge for Lamps

Frank Lampard insists revenge will not be on their minds if they meet Liverpool in the semi-final of the Champions League.

Chelsea's stunning win over Valencia has set up the prospect of a repeat of their controversial clash at the same stage of the competition two years ago.

Liverpool are expected to overcome PSV Eindhoven after chalking up a 3-0 first leg lead and that will provide Chelsea with the opportunity to finally get even with the Merseysiders.

Coach Jose Mourinho still insists that Liverpool's goal should never have been allowed because Luis Garcia's effort did not cross the line.

Now with a rematch on the cards, Lampard warns there should be no talk of revenge because it could all backfire on them.

Lampard declared: "Revenge is a silly thing to take into games because then you are not concentrating as you should be.
