Museums Merge with Might and Muscle

ROCKLAND/ROCKPORT (April 19): Three Knowlton Moving vans pulled up to the Maine Lighthouse Museum in downtown Rockland on Thursday loaded with valuable treasure. It had been a tough journey for Rolf Winters' hard-working crews that had to deal with the Nor'easter that delayed delivery for two days and rocked the trucks on their way to Wells. .

Rochester Professor Uses Economic Theory to Encourage 'More Sex'

Go ahead, cut into line at the drinking fountain. While you are at it, ditch your leaf blower and spend the afternoon watching football instead of doing yard work. Steven E. Landsburg, professor of economics at the University of Rochester and Slate magazine columnist, argues in his new book More Sex is Safer Sex: The Unconventional Wisdom of Economics that those two strategies can make the world a happier place. .

Logic of the jungle

There has been a lot of hocus-pocus about a collective Sri Lankan team decision to leave out two of their strike bowlers Chaminda Vaas and Muttiah Muralitharan during their super eight encounter against Australia. At this juncture both teams involved in his match has already booked their passage into the semi-final and then the out come of this spat would only create a psychological impact on either team given the chance of a re-run on a future date during the same tournament.

The point lies there. During the last century or a little more cricket has evolved from a Sunday afternoon summer past time of some Englishmen, to a multimillion dollar industry where the word winning means everything. However please do not get misled by the ‘lone’ word winning. Winning a meaningless by-game is not what they mean by everything.
