TITUSVILLE Drake Well Park is gearing up already for the much-anticipated 2009 celebration of the 150th anniversary of the discovery of oil. As part of Oil150, Drake Well will undergo a $6.34 million renovation project $2.7 million for updates to the physical systems, $2.3 million for new exhibit space and $1.34 million for a comprehensive research center. Two key benefits from the project will be the ability to showcase more of the museums vast collection, now held in storage, and the ability to access photographs and other research materials at a faster pace. We have extensive collections tucked away that no one ever sees, said Barbara Zolli, the Drake Well site administrator.
